Mother Tongue performance is a persistent concern for Singapore parents. At Elite Learning Kids, core lessons are conducted in English, with Chinese language exposure woven into enrichment activities, daily routines and structured programmes.
Our Primary Chinese Enrichment is delivered under TCEP — the Chinese Language Programme for students by the Confucius Institute, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) — using the 《状元学堂・乐思华文》 Little Scholars’ Series curriculum: an 11-book series co-developed with the Institute’s Teaching Resource Department and closely aligned to MOE’s latest Primary Chinese syllabus.
Each level reinforces listening, speaking, reading and writing, with additional cultural and knowledge-building content after every exercise to deepen retention — building confident, natural spoken and written Chinese that carries through to O-Level Mother Tongue at the Secondary level.

What is TCEP?
TCEP is the Chinese Language Programme for students, run by the Confucius Institute, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), using the Little Scholars’ Series curriculum.
Is Chinese Enrichment part of Student Care, or a standalone class?
Both — it’s woven into daily Student Care routines, Monday to Friday 1:00pm to 7:00pm, and also available as standalone Tuition & Enrichment for children not enrolled in Student Care.
Does Chinese Enrichment continue at the Secondary level?
Yes — our Secondary Chinese tuition builds on the foundation set in Primary Chinese Enrichment, with structured Mother Tongue preparation for O-Level.
